Meet Your Teachers

Growing Martin Minds Tutoring Services was established by two certified teachers, both proud natives of Stuart, Florida. Drawing on their roots and commitment to local children, these women have dedicated themselves to serving K-8 students in the community through public education.

Our mission at Growing Martin Minds is to empower students with the skills and confidence needed for academic success, fostering a love for learning that lasts a lifetime.

Through tailored instruction and a deep connection to the community, we strive to be a guiding force in the educational journey of every student we serve.

  • Savannah Gallagher, a Stuart native, proudly attended Martin County Schools, laying the foundation for her commitment to local education. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Florida Atlantic University. Savannah specializes in K–5 reading and math, as well as 6–8 reading, bringing targeted expertise to support foundational and advanced skills. Dedicated to her community, Savannah has served our local students within the district, embodying a passion for giving back to the community that shaped her.

  • Danielle Wells, a Stuart, FL native, completed her education in the Martin County Schools before earning a Master's Degree in Education from the University of South Florida. Returning to her hometown, Danielle is a devoted educator with endorsements in reading and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). She specializes in K-9 math, including Algebra 1. Her classroom experience spans both elementary and middle school levels, reflecting her commitment to providing a well-rounded education.

  • Sarah is a dedicated educator with 25 years of teaching experience, most of which have been spent in Martin County. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and two master's degrees in Education Leadership and Reading Education from the American College of Education. Endorsed in ESOL and reading, Sarah specializes in elementary education, fostering student growth and development across diverse learning environments.

  • Jayna is a Florida native and has worked for the Martin County School District since moving in 2017. She attended Florida Atlantic University and earned a Bachelor's degree focusing on K-6 elementary education, and is Reading endorsed. She has worked with a wide range of students from different backgrounds within the elementary school setting and is committed to promoting growth. She is passionate about helping students reach their full potential and helping them to feel proud of their efforts.

  • Mrs. Holland is a Stuart resident and teacher, certified in grades 5-9 English. As a former Teacher of the Year, she is committed to helping struggling readers reach their full potential!

  • Monica Pool is a compassionate educator in Martin County. She holds a Master's Degree in Reading K-12 from Nova Southeastern University. Also, she is ESOL Endorsed. As a former Martin County Middle School Teacher of the year, she desires to foster the love of reading in every child. She believes in creating engaging lessons to assist children in reaching their academic goals.

  • Heather Covington is a proud Graduate from Florida Atlantic University, with a teaching certification in Secondary Social Studies grades 6-12 and endorsed with the Civics Seal of Excellence. She was born and raised in Tampa, but teaches Civics locally in Stuart. In her seven years of teaching, she has taught Civics, U.S. History and World History. She is committed to empowering her students through ownership of their learning and exploring strategies to achieve success.

  • Jackie is a highly effective educator with 29 years of teaching experience. Born and raised in Martin County, she brings a deep understanding of local schools and the needs of the students she serves. Jackie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Education from Florida Atlantic University and is certified to teach grades K–6 with a Reading Endorsement. Throughout her career, she has been known for her dedication, expertise, and passion for helping students grow as confident, capable learners.

  • Brooklyn earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and has experience in primary and upper elementary school in all subjects and currently teaches middle school ELA. She values the opportunity to support students while helping them feel confident in their abilities. Recognized by the Florida Department of Education as a High Impact Teacher, Brooklyn is committed to providing strategies in a positive and engaging environment to help each student achieve success.

  • Ellie has dedicated over 30 years to mathematics education bringing clarity and enthusiasm to  students from 6th grade to the College level. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary  Education with a major in Mathematics from the University of South Florida and a Master’s  Degree in Mathematics from Florida Atlantic University. Known for her ability to break down  complex mathematical concepts into easily understandable lessons, Ellie has a passion for  making math accessible and engaging for all learners.

  • Zachary Sibley is a highly experienced math tutor, proficient in all levels of mathematics. He specializes in making algebra and geometry accessible and understandable for students of all ages and backgrounds. Zachary possesses a knack for breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps, fostering a supportive and encouraging learning environment. He tailors his approach to each student's individual needs and learning style, ensuring they not only grasp the material but also develop a genuine confidence in their mathematical abilities. Whether your student needs help catching up, staying on track, or excelling in math, Zachary provides the expertise and personalized attention needed to succeed.

  • Amy Zuloaga is a compassionate and innovative educator with over 20 years of experience in elementary education. She is driven by seeing her students succeed and develop the confidence to reach their full potential. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from Florida State University. Amy is a veteran teacher who is deeply dedicated to student achievement, bringing years of experience and a caring approach to her students.

  • Catherine is a passionate and dedicated teacher with experience teaching a variety of grade levels and working within Martin County schools. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education and endorsements in ESOL and reading from the University of Tampa. Known for her caring nature and ability to connect with students of all backgrounds, Catherine loves creating an inclusive and engaging classroom. Her mission is to inspire a love of learning and help her students reach their full potential.

  • Christina Powell is an enthusiastic and passionate educator with many years of elementary teaching experience. She holds a master's degree from the University of Southern Maine as well as an active Florida teaching certificate, and is dedicated to fostering a nurturing environment for her students. Christina values the students in our community and believes in their unlimited potential!

  • Sarah Davis was born and raised in Stuart and is a proud graduate of the Martin County School District. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Florida Gulf Coast University and brings extensive classroom experience. Sarah has taught both elementary and middle school students from diverse backgrounds and has been consistently recognized as a highly effective teacher across multiple Florida school districts.

  • Emmie Eimann is a Martin County School District graduate who is proud to be right back to where she began her career in education - in a high school classroom! With experience as an ELA and reading teacher, Intervention Teacher, and Dean of Students, she brings both academic expertise and a deep understanding of student barriers that impact success. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary English Education and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Florida Atlantic University, as well as a Florida Professional Certificate in English 6-12. Emmie currently teaches 10th Grade English and AICE English Language, serves as a Cambridge International AICE assessment examiner, and has led SAT, ACT, FAST, and CLT prep for grades 9–12. Her focus is on personalized instruction, strong relationships, and building student confidence so every student feels supported and capable of success!

  • Kayla Hill is a passionate educator and is dedicated to helping students grow academically and personally by creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. Kayla has experience providing targeted support in math, statistics, reading, and phonics, helping students build confidence and strengthen foundational skills. She values meeting students where they are and using effective strategies to help each learner achieve success. Through her caring and student-centered approach, Kayla is committed to empowering students to reach their full potential.

  • Kristin is a highly effective and experienced math educator with over two decades of expertise, specializing in high stakes Algebra and Geometry courses. Kristin provides targeted support for ACT, SAT, and EOC preparation, combining deep content knowledge with strategic test-taking techniques. She simplifies complex concepts through clear, step-by-step instruction while tailoring each session to the individual learner. Whether a student needs remediation, enrichment, or intensive test prep, she creates a structured and supportive environment where students feel challenged, capable, and motivated to succeed.

  • Gary is an experienced mathematics educator and tutor specializing in Algebra, Geometry, and Pre-Algebra. Passionate about helping students build confidence and improve their problem-solving skills through clear instruction, patience, and individualized support. Skilled in both in-person and online learning environments, with experience working with students of diverse abilities and learning styles.

  • Zoe is an elementary educator who relocated from northeast to Florida in 2011. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Long Island University and is certified to teach Kindergarten through sixth grade in Florida. Zoe has been teaching with the Martin County School District since 2013, with most of her experience in kindergarten, first, and second grade.

    She is passionate about early literacy and building strong foundational skills. Zoe is ESOL and Reading endorsed, fluent in Spanish, and believes learning should be hands-on, play-based, and fun.
